Stevenson got off to a good start in the early rounds, the first four rounds were relatively close. While Superman did throw a significant amount of punches, Jack did not allow him to land a majority of them.

In Round 6, Stevenson appeared to visibly hurt Jack. Badou then returned the favor in Rounds 7-11, appearing to have stunned Adonis Stevenson several times. Stevenson, 40, showed his age as he gassed roughly after the mid way point in the fight.
