The Atlanta Dream defeated the Chicago Sky 106-81 on Saturday night, with Angel Reese recording 23 points and 10 rebounds for her 31st double-double of the season. Allisha Gray added 17 points, while rookie Isobel Borlase scored a career-high 18 for Atlanta. Gabriela Jaquez led Chicago with 14 points.
Reese made WNBA history in the second quarter when she secured her 500th rebound of the season, becoming the first player in league history to reach the mark. The milestone came on a defensive rebound after Reese helped disrupt a Chicago scoring attempt.
Reese also finished with four assists, two steals and three blocks as Atlanta's defense held Chicago to 81 points. The Dream recorded 13 steals, bringing their season total to 374, which established a WNBA single-season record for team steals.
Atlanta will visit the New York Liberty on Monday and again Wednesday to close the regular season. Chicago will host the Toronto Tempo on Tuesday as the Sky finish their regular-season schedule.
