The Chicago Bears continued their impressive 2026 campaign with a convincing 34–17 victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football. Playing at Lumen Field against the defending Super Bowl champions, Chicago demonstrated that its recent success is becoming more than just an entertaining stretch of football. The Bears controlled the game from the opening drive and responded when Seattle threatened to make things interesting in the fourth quarter.
Caleb Williams completed 24 of 34 passes for 247 yards and a touchdown, finishing with a 101.0 passer rating. Williams demonstrated improved command of the offense, distributing the football to multiple receivers and keeping Seattle's defense from concentrating on one particular target. Colston Loveland recorded seven receptions for 65 yards, Luther Burden III added seven catches for 56 yards and a touchdown, and Rome Odunze led Chicago with 87 receiving yards.
However, the biggest offensive weapon on Monday night was running back D'Andre Swift. Swift rushed 27 times for 69 yards and three touchdowns, repeatedly delivering when Chicago needed to finish drives. Defensively, the Bears also delivered a strong performance, recording three sacks, forcing an interception and holding Seattle to just 252 total yards. Chicago's special teams contributed with a crucial blocked field goal, demonstrating the importance of all three phases.
The victory improved Chicago to 6–2, marking its third consecutive win and fifth victory in its last six games. Williams has now thrown for 860 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions across his three starts since returning from injury. Chicago has also become the first team in NFL history to defeat both participants from the previous Super Bowl in consecutive prime-time games. The Bears are building momentum, and the rest of the NFL is beginning to take notice.
