With regards to the Lamont v Davis when it comes to as you phrase it, unpresented decision, when it comes to newly discovered evidence, the commission is a body of boxing authority whom is required by boxing rules (law) to decide if the fighter and his team violated (a) or ( the) rule or rules of boxing. If at all a decision is rendered and some sanctioned is required a number of sanctions can be imposed 1) disqualified 2) stripped of belt 3) a monetary sanctioned and 4) a rematch for vacant title. This is just my interpretation of boxing rules.
