Shedeur Sanders breakout 4-TD performance falls short against Titans

Shedeur Sanders delivered one of the strongest performances of his young NFL career in the Browns’ matchup with the Tennessee Titans this past weekend. The rookie quarterback threw for 364 yards and three touchdowns on 23-of-42 passing, marking his first 300-yard game as a pro. He also added a rushing touchdown, showing poise and playmaking against a Titans defense that pressured him throughout the afternoon.

Sanders connected on several explosive plays, including a 60-yard deep ball to Jerry Jeudy and multiple tight-window throws that kept Cleveland in the fight.

In the fourth quarter, Sanders nearly engineered a comeback, leading two touchdown drives in the final five minutes to pull the Browns within two points. But Cleveland failed on both two-point conversion attempts, and the rally fell short in a 31–29 loss. Even in defeat, the performance was a statement: Sanders looked decisive, resilient, and far ahead of typical rookie development curves.

The Browns may have walked away disappointed, but Sanders’ showing was a clear sign that he’s becoming the centerpiece of the franchise’s future.
