Frisco, TX — The Texas Legends (9–21) powered past the San Diego Clippers (15–16) with a 128–106 victory Saturday night at Comerica Center, fueled by standout performances from Dalano Banton and Mark Armstrong.

Banton set the tone for Texas with an all-around performance, finishing with 24 points and seven assists while controlling the pace of the game. The versatile guard consistently attacked the defense, creating scoring opportunities both for himself and his teammates as the Legends jumped out to an early lead.

Armstrong also played a major role in the offensive surge, adding 21 points and six assists. His scoring punch helped keep the pressure on San Diego throughout the night, particularly during the Legends’ strong third quarter that allowed Texas to pull away.

Behind the backcourt duo, the Legends opened the game with a season-high 40 points in the first quarter and carried a 62–52 lead into halftime. Banton’s playmaking and Armstrong’s scoring helped Texas maintain control through the second half as the Legends continued to push the pace and extend their advantage.

The win highlighted the strong chemistry between Banton and Armstrong, whose combined production helped the Legends shoot efficiently and dictate the tempo from start to finish in the first game of the back-to-back set at Comerica Center.
